CMDC's mission:
Critical Mass Dance Company (CMDC) was founded in 2010 by a diverse group of young women activists  in Central Los Angeles who believe in the healing power of dance.

Our mission is to catalyze community health, personal growth and social justice in Central Los Angeles by:

(a) creating works of blacklight dance theater that uplift the spirit, ignite the imagination and raise awareness about various social and environmental issues

(b) providing no/low cost dance instruction that promotes healing, health and wellness

(c) sponsoring public events that encourage the creative expression of the public

(d) increasing public access to affordable dance instruction and healing services
