We had such an amazing intimate time exploring our inner divas and interstellar superstardom at our Bey-day workshop!
We took a galactic trip through the elements, exploring how to embody our inner superstar and cosmic radiance. We strutted down a runway of dreams and declared the dreams that we're co-creating with the universe and each other. We achieved cozy living room dance party vibes while also calling in tropical nature retreat energy. And we danced our hearts full to a phenomenal DJ set. One of Maria's favorite Beyonce quotes is: "I'm not alive unless I am creating something. I'm not happy if I'm not creating, if I'm not dreaming, if I'm not creating a dream and making it into something real. I'm not happy if I'm not improving, evolving, moving forward, inspiring, teaching and learning." And we definitely gave life to so many dreams in this workshop! |

This was one of the biggest events we've ever facilitated! In partnership with TakeActionLA and CalMHSA, we had a wonderfully full, bright, gorgeous, healing day full of community, nourishment, and mental health resources.

Check out some highlights from our recent community care clinic in the garden! We had a wonderful, restorative time connecting with local healers and enjoying the lush spring blooms. We meditated on and moved with the following intentions: What abundance are we celebrating in our lives right now? Where would we like to see abundance flow, grow, and flourish? |

Intimacy. Joy. Support. Softness. Awareness. Rejuvenation. Self-Discovery. Gentleness. Connection. Community. Experimentation. Peace. Serenity. Wonder. Rest.
These were all present and abundant at our most recent community event called Rest, Refill, Renew: Reclaiming Rest as Collective Care. So many of us left with new friends, new self-knowledge, and new visions of a future where we get to center our rest with the support of community. Immense gratitude to all who attended the event, held at El Sereno Community Garden on November 19th —and to everyone who supported us in making this possible. This quote from our amazing event photographer, Alba Castro, sums up so well what it was like getting to host this gathering: “It was so rewarding to document the event as well as capture the moments of unity, slow living, awareness, gentle ease, and Joy through movement and music-creation.” |
