Our Teen Empowerment Program serves young adult, ages 16-25 years old. This program utilizes our trauma-informed healing movement practice called Dance from the Heart to build self-confidence, reduce stress and anxiety, and create supportive peer relationships among teens. We offer one-time workshops and 6-8 week classes that are free to participants by partnering with schools and organizations across Los Angeles such as MOSTe Girls, South Central Sisters, Peace Over Violence, Kid City Hope Place, A Place Called Home, Abode Communities, Alexandria House and schools like Markham Middle School, Girls Athletic Leadership School, New Village Girls Academy, Academic Learning Communities (ALC) and Roosevelt High. Due to COVID-19, all our classes and workshops are provided online via Zoom. |
Women Empowerment Program
Our Women Empowerment Program supports survivors of trauma, such as sexual or domestic violence. This program utilizes our trauma-informed healing movement practice called Dance from the Heart to help people reconnect to their bodies, reduce physical pain, build self-confidence, and cultivate meaningful connection with others. We offer one-time workshops or 6-8 week classes in English or Spanish to local L.A.-based organizations such as Peace over Violence and East Los Angeles Women's Center. Due to COVID-19, all our classes and workshops are provided online via Zoom.
